Prime 112 restaurant is a famous steakhouse in Miami. It has existed in Brown’s Hotel for decades and is frequented by locals and out of town politicians, entertainers and athletes.

The elegant, modern decor, is accentuated by mood lighting. The restaurant’s layout, seating in particular, is somewhat compact. As diners converse the restaurant is loud. However, not to earsplitting levels.

Prime 112′s menu is somewhat diverse for a steakhouse. The steak, served with roasted garlic, was decent. The seasoning was mild (could be a tad bit stronger). The fries were average. The scallops were properly cooked, plump and tender. The desert, batter fried Oreo cookies, were okay.
